I found a GM Tech explanation of how to get it to work and it was awful. Fuel tank level should be between 1/2 and 3/4 fill during the drive cycle in order to allow the EVAP monitor to run. It is a combination of MPH, distance and time I believe. It isnt a mile marker you need to hit either. I rebuilt the N20 on another 2013 car and started it up and the EGR monitor set in a few seconds of it running for the first time. It is the single most difficult system to get to a ready status. This is puzzling because I don't think these cars have an EGR system so I would think the EGR monitor would set immediately or it wouldn't include it in the readiness check. The engine coolant temperature is between 4.4C and 35C (40F and 95F). I know that EVAP is the most difficult monitor to reset because the required conditions are the most difficult to achieve. Fuel tank is about 2/3 full, which is within the 1/4-3/4 allowable range. All of my monitor set pretty quickly with normal driving except for the EVAP and EGR monitors.
