We went and got some eggs and bread etc only to go to cook with literally the bare minimal utensils. There is a really conveniently located supermarket next to the apartments too. On the topic of eating, one thing that drew us to the apartments was to be able to cook our own breakfast before we went out for the day to save a little on money. A lady working said good morning which was lovely but then proceeded to ask us to get up and fix the blinds and open the curtains properly whilst we were literally in the middle of eating. My partner and I were eating our breakfast peacefully on our balcony which looked over the bottoms floor patio. I can’t say the same for some of the others working at the apartments on some occasions.
The host sent us a WhatsApp with all the bus routes we could take which is a great help. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived at Aura and had a thorough explanation of the facilities, house rules and got to ask questions about Dubrovnik in general which was great. This place would be ideal for a single couple.… Apparently rest time is from 9pm to 8am ( we arrived back at 8.45pm) so no sitting and chatting during this time.not ideal when on holiday with friends! Overall we had a lovely time but because of all the rules it wasn't really suitable for a group of friends so we ended up just using as a place to shower and sleep. We were shocked to find that all the seats had been removed. We thought very strange as pool large enough for all of us! After dinner the next evening we returned and decided to have a drink together in the lovely seating area in the garden. We were then told only 5 in the pool at any one time.
Some were swimming and some just chatting in the pool. After an early start we all settled in and met at the pool. We were met on check in by the host who explained how everything worked, told us about the buses etc and handed us the keys. The apartments and grounds were spotless and very secure. We were a group of 5 couples in 5 apartments all accepted under 1 booking. Some studios feature a balcony or a shared terrace. Private bathroom provides a shower and hairdryer. Room type: Studio Apartment Air-conditioned studio featuring a fully equipped kitchenette and a seating area, as well as satellite TV. Airport transfers and daily trips are available upon request. The bus terminal and Gruz Harbour can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The next supermarket can be found 20 metres from the Aura Apartments and a restaurant is just 300 metres away. All guests are welcomed with a complimentary drink. The pool is surrounded by sun loungers and offers whirlpool options.The front desk is open 24 hours a day.
